As Lenny's Supervisor in a non-profit seeking to serve marginalized populations with Biblical Counseling, I had the unique privilege of observing Lenny to have the focus and agility in both faith and ability to apply her gifts and skills God has equipped and is growing her with. She has walked with many women through difficult circumstances, ranging from recent addiction to chronic depression and anxiety! She listens well and builds solid rapport with each client. We met through a mutual friend at church as I was seeking help for my teenage daughter who was having trouble socially. Lenny brings biblical insight into thoughts, emotions and circumstances. She compassionately speaks the truth with love. Her style is structured-flexibility. She comes with a plan, but realizes that the Holy Spirit might lead in other directions. The goal of her counseling is helping the counselee to be conformed to the image of Christ, as opposed to merely turning them into a good, respectable person.
